myGeoDiary on the iPhone helps you Record, Store & Share your GPS tracks associated with various lifestyle activities such as running, skiing, hiking, driving and general lifestreaming. The application also enables you to capture waypoints and photographs which can be automatically geotagged and placed on the recorded tracks.

The myGeoDiary iPhone application calculates and displays analytics associated with these tracks such as distance, average speed, calories burnt, elevation etc. These recorded GPS tracks & photographs can be safely uploaded to your account on the web at www.mygeodiary.com, where they can be Organized under lifestyle & location tags; Personalized with rich media such as text, photos, videos; and then Shared with any online service using links & widgets. myGeoDiary also provides a set of APIs for developers interested in integrating the service into their online sites.

For e.g. Users can also provision their account at www.mygeodiary.com to publish geotagged photos to Flickr, embed tracks in Googles Blogger, post micro geoblogs on services such as Twitter and share track
links on social networks such as Facebook etc.

myGeoDiary Recorder works best with the new iPhone 3G as this has a proper GPS receiver.
myGeoDiary app does not work well with first generation iPhones.
